A Call for Support
Winona Woods is once again cheering on the ROC Runners on Sunday September 25th!
In years past we have had a variety of themes such as different Holidays. Neighbors have chalked messages on St.Paul, rung bells, and cheered with signs. The runners have commented many times that running through our neighborhood is a highlight of the route. Let’s make it happen again!
This year’s theme is “Our favorite Sport.” We are asking our neighbors on each Winona Woods / St. Paul street block to come up with a sport theme that best fits your cheering section. For example, Belcoda Drive’e theme could be Biking for Fun, and their street neighbors will come to cheer with bikes, biking outfits, helmets, and signs to cheer on the ROC Half Marathon Runners.
Let’s make this a fun year and have a sports theme for each of our streets. Our stretch of the route is between miles 8 and 9 which will put most of the runners in our neighborhood around 8:00 – 8:30 am. Get out of bed, enjoy the fresh air, and have an outstanding time with your neighbors!!
