Help Us Help the Irondequoit Community Cupboard
Winona Woods is collecting non-perishable food items for the Irondequoit Community Cupboard (ICC) August 16-21. You can deliver your donations to Marina Barnum at 40 Parkside Crescent. There will be a sign and wagon in the front yard for you to drop off your delivery. All items will be brought inside nightly.
Items most needed right now include:
- Canned fruit in its own juices
- Canned tuna and chicken
- Canned vegetables (peas, spinach, collard greens, carrots, mixed veg, corn and green beans)
- Baked beans and pork and beans
- Black, red and white beans
- Instant mashed potatoes
- Flavored rice
- Farina or Cream of Wheat
- Jelly (grape or strawberry; small jars or squeeze it bottles)
- Hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, female deodorant)
All donations will be delivered to ICC on August 22.
ICC helps thousands of our Irondequoit neighbors each year by providing fresh and non-perishable food, personal care/hygiene products, paper goods, school supplies, and more.
